I’m a black mom, and I’d have done the exact same thing as she did. I was just explaining to my husband recently how we women have to maintain this constant alertness and hyper awareness when we are out in public places alone. It’s self preservation…we’re fully aware of our vulnerability, *especially* when our babies are with us!
