I’m a long time Californian, a rare red one at that, and I could not agree with you more. I live in Northern California and was thinking the same; “don’t move up this way”. Northern Ca used to be mostly red now it’s purple with so many of the Bay Area transitioning for more affordable housing but they don’t assimilate and are trying to change our ways. It’s very maddening!
The problem with the United States today is that we have political parties to begin with, Politician afraid to vote how they feel in fear of what their party will do to them. Many of them vote based on how the party wants them to vote not how they feel. We need to start voting for politician base on their values and what they want to do for the American people.
